Anthesis is looking to fill a Data Specialist (IT person) position to assist the growing needs of our organization. We envision our Data Specialist to be an integral component to the efficiency of how our organization operates software and hardware systems. The Data Specialist will be responsible for: Managing a variety of desktop computers, laptops and mobile devices including all software such as operating systems, Office products, databases and other applications needed in this large nonprofit organization. Must have experience utilizing a variety of database products in order to assist staff maximize their data collection and analysis for better decision making and outcomes management. Ability to work with all internal departments to understand their needs and convert those needs into data gathering systems and outputs. Support in training staff in all varieties of applications and software. Knowledge of all types of hardware in order to troubleshoot and repair as needed. Maintain an inventory of all hardware and software for the organization. Must be innovative to ensure that all departments are continually improving and gaining efficiency through technology.
The candidate for this position must possess a high school diploma or GED (General Education Degree); Associate of Arts Degree in a related field is preferable but not required. Experience utilizing a variety of database products and training individuals on IT-related information required. Experience troubleshooting and repairing hardware preferred. Position is currently part-time (6 hours per day) with the potential to grow to full time. Starting wages based on experience.
