Anthesis is currently looking for a Program Assistant to work the front desk at our Adult Development Center (ADC). Our ADC provides cutting-edge day programs for adults with [dis]abilities to aid them in community-based settings and community integration. Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Day Programs and Program Manager, serves as receptionist and assistant to the Program Manager and Program Specialists on projects and program evaluation and provides clerical support for ADC staff. The Program Assistant will also serve as Intake Coordinator for ADC for new consumer enrollments. The overall goal of the Program Assistant will be to oversee that the ADC is running efficiently and report any issues or concerns directly to the Program Specialist or Program Manager. The Program Assistant will also be responsible for handling, filing and safeguarding important, sensitive and confidential information regarding ADC consumers and as such, the ideal candidate will have a discreet but caring demeanor. Anthesis’ Program Assistant will help us deliver on this promise by ensuring that our consumers and their information are treated fairly and that they are being treated ethically and being given the tools needed in order to help them successfully integrate into their surrounding communities. Clerical tasks include answering and directing calls, greeting individuals that walk into the ADC and directing them, filing, creating memos and reports, etc. The current work schedule for this position is Monday – Friday from 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM and starting wage is $12.25 hourly.

Qualifications/Education/Experience: High School diploma or general education degree (GED); some educational experience (college level) in Humans Services Delivery System preferred but not required. One (1) year experience working with adults with developmental disabilities. Must possess a valid California Driver’s License and three (3) years driving experience with a good driving record. Must possess proof of current vehicle registration and proof of current vehicle insurance. Candidate must be able to pass a preemployment drug screening as well as an FBI/DOJ fingerprint scan.
