Spotlight on Inland Empire Health Plan

Jose Solorzano is a Community Health Representative on the Independent Living & Diversity Services Team at Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP). Solorzano first learned about Anthesis through a discussion with Anthesis Board Member, Doug Vincent, and has helped develop the partnership between IEHP and Anthesis. Over the years, IEHP has generously supported Anthesis as a community events’ sponsor. We are delighted to highlight IEHP, an organization that also supports adults with disabilities through healthcare and wellness services.

Based in Rancho Cucamonga, IEHP is one of the top 10 largest Medicaid health plans and the largest not-for-profit Medicare-Medicaid plan in the country. Like Anthesis, IEHP is dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities participate and stay connected to their communities. Of the 1.4 million members that IEHP serves, 9 out of 10 members have a disability. To empower their members and ensure communities have equal access to health and wellness resources, the health plan’s Community Health Team actively works to connect with seniors and individuals with disabilities to assist in navigating the health care system.

Aiming to heal and inspire the human spirit, IEHP supports communities in various ways, including connecting those in need to employment and community integration opportunities, by referring to Anthesis.

Solorzano noted that IEHP is thrilled to continue partnership with Anthesis and continue this great work. “Anthesis connects with our mission to empower individuals with disabilities to live inclusive lives through employment and community integration. IEHP truly believes that individuals with disabilities should not be isolated and deserve a role and voice in society. Working with Anthesis, that goal becomes a reality for so many.”

Thank you, IEHP, for your continuous partnership and championing our mission to support independent and inclusive lives for adults with [dis]abilities through employment and community integration!
