A Conversation with Linda

Linda R. grew up in Eden Texas with her family.  When her mom Lois and father JD past away, Linda moved to CA with her sister Betty and Linda currently lives at Sunrise Home in Montclair. Linda has been a program participant for 27 years with Anthesis formerly. At ‘RASS, Linda is one of our shining stars. She loves keeping busy. She beads and will make keychains for her favorite people. Her favorite hobby is completing puzzles.  She will challenge herself with 500 pieces and up including 3D puzzles. If you stop by ‘RASS, there is a puzzle of the month that is displayed on the wall. This month’s puzzle is the San Diego Zoo. Stop by and catch Linda doing what she loves to do.

Linda, how long have you been at Anthesis?
For 27 years.

Now that you are retired and are attending ‘RASS, what do you like to do?
Go out in the community and have fun.  I liked the beach and I like going out to eat.

What’s your favorite thing to do?
Puzzles are my favorite thing to do; you know that.  I like being in Aktion Club and hanging around with you because it’s fun.

What’s fun? Fundraising and service projects is fun?
Yes, donating toiletries to the soldiers and packing boxes for them.
