Alphonso and Stephen were participants in the community-based program until they landed jobs at Playful Paws. Alphonso went to work at Playful Paws in September 2019 and Stephen followed shortly thereafter in October in paid internship programs. Alphonso is in charge of the small dogs and Stephen works with the larger dogs. Playful Paws is a full-service pet facility where their parents can watch them play and interact with the other dogs. Manager La’Nae trained Alphonso and Stephen how to properly perform their duties.
